Inspired by the 1947 Hans Wenger design, this Replica Hans Wegner Peacock Chair is made from solid timber, available in two different wood options. This design is named the Peacock Chair because of the way that the back is structured, with its large, rounded form and splayed spindles, which are reminiscent of a peacock`s tail plumage.
The frame of this Replica Peacock Chair is solid timber, across which natural rattan cord is woven to form the seat. The overall construction of this chair really is wonderful, not just in its appearance, but its quality too. The timber frame is expertly worked and turned and features beautiful detailing in the way that each piece is subtly shaped.
With a choice of natural or black cord seat, the Peacock Chair is available with a Natural Ash or American Walnut solid timber frame.
